This is a cake I did for a baby shower that my sweet niece, Erica, was hosting for one of her long-time best friends, Leigha. Leigha is almost a saint and I was so thrilled to do this cake for her. Each tier was torted into four layers and filled with this amazing whipped buttercream filling (that's made with three times the normal amount of butter I usually use and a 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream). Cake and all decor are 100% edible. Buttercream icing, fondant decor. This cake was inspired by the cakes at Pink Cake Box.
