Robert's Mechanic Cake (click on photos to enlarge).

"Mechanic" cake for a dear friend's 21 year old son (who's in college, but who's been an excellent mechanic since he was just a kid). This young man has been a really special person his entire life and I was so proud to be asked to bake for him. I got the idea for this cake from a NY baker named "Michele25" on Cake Central (only the best caking website known to man).  The inspirational cake was far better than mine - as it's supposed to be a guy working under a car, but mine just looks like the car ran him over.  I know I seem to say with every cake, "I had so fun making this cake," but I had so much fun making this cake!!
